Study Permits & Consular Guidance
Once you receive a Letter of Acceptance from NA College, you should immediately apply for your study permit through Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). Depending on your citizenship, you may also require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV).
Documents Required for a Study Permit
- Original acceptance letter from NA College
- Valid passport or official ID
- Proof of sufficient funds (bank statement, savings, or draft)
- Declaration of intent to leave Canada after studies
- Medical exam (if required)
- Application fee ($150 CAD)
At the Canadian port of entry, you will need:
- CIC letter of introduction and permit reference number
- Passport and TRV (if required)
- NA College acceptance letter
- Proof of financial support
